Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the City College Portal (the "Portal") operated by City College ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Portal, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or pose a security or compliance risk.

The Portal is provided for lawful educational and administrative purposes related to City College programs, including:

• Submitting and managing course applications;
• Uploading supporting documents;
• Reviewing and accepting offer letters;
• Paying prescribed fees; and
• Communicating with admissions and student services.

You must not misuse the Portal, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Submission of an application through the Portal does not guarantee admission. Offer letters, fee schedules, and enrolment conditions are subject to City College policies and applicable law. You are responsible for reviewing all documents and deadlines provided to you.

Where the Portal integrates with DocuSign or similar electronic signature services, you agree that electronic signatures and records may be used in connection with offer letters and related documents. You consent to conduct transactions electronically and acknowledge that your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.

By using electronic signing, you also agree to DocuSign's applicable terms and privacy practices for the signing session. We are not responsible for third-party service outages beyond our reasonable control.

Fees displayed in the Portal are subject to confirmation in official offer and enrolment documents. Payments processed through integrated payment providers are subject to those providers' terms. You are responsible for providing valid payment details and for any bank or card charges imposed by your financial institution.

The Portal, its design, software, and content provided by City College are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Portal except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Portal, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Portal, you acknowledge that you have read that policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Continued use of the Portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction.
